Worse Case Scenario

The first time I fed my dog raw chicken, I was freaking out. I imagined all kinds of worst case scenarios and I was utterly terrified he’d be incapable of eating raw chicken. Despite all the research I’d done on feeding dogs biologically appropriate raw food, I was really, really scared.

I anxiously watched Zeus crunch through muscle, skin and bone with out a second thought. It was obviously easy for him. I’ve fed all my dogs primarily raw ever since and they’ve thrived on it with perfect veterinary check ups.

Isn’t it interesting that when we’re very emotionally invested in something all kinds of fears can find their way in? I think a lot of people get tripped up by their fears and sometimes this can ruin a reading.

Ditch the fear and replace it with curiosity. You’ll go further once you take the approach of asking *why* you’re so invested in seeing the downside of an event. Further more it takes you out of the moment.

Take a curious point of view and see if you feel better.
