What is a Tarot Card Deck?

Tarot is a 500 year old tradition consisting of a card deck used for divination (fortune telling in America) and various games (in Europe).

Most American Tarot Decks have 78 cards. The decks have 22 cards called the Major Arcana and 56 are called the Minor Arcana.

The Major Arcana are numbered 0 to 21 and follow the soul’s path in life from innocence to enlightenment. These are your major karmic life lessons.

There are many symbols from the zodiac to symbolic animals in these cards which are also called Trump Cards.

The Minor Arcana are further divided into four suits (Wands, Cups, Swords, Pentacles) which deal with various aspects of daily life.

Each suit is associated with lots of symbols like the Major Arcana. These are your every day influences and people you meet.

Don’t You Need Psychic Powers To Read Tarot Cards?

No one needs any particular psychic gift for the tarot to be useful. You don’t even have to be a believer.

The Tarot is a tool. You don’t need to be psychic, spiritual or even religious at all to use it (but you can be those things too).

What can tarot do for you

Does Doing A Reading Mean You Can’t Escape Any Predictions?

No. Paper holds no power over you. Tarot is designed to use ART as a bridge to stimulate your subconscious to speak to your conscious mind. You’re always in the driver’s seat.

Tarot gives you a system that can help you sort out a new fresh perspective on your life, relationships and decision-making.

Learning the Tarot is about listening to your very own deep-down wisdom that comes from your authentic soul.
