Ten of Swords Meaning
Ten of Swords Meaning
Prompt:
Has there ever been a time you were betrayed that makes you fearful today?
Live the Tarot:
If you’re holding on to an old hurt consider what you are getting from not letting it go. Does it serve you to look backwards at the wound while trying to move forward?
Artist’s Notes:
I chose a deserted beach with a fallen person who has come to a violent and unexpected end. The sky is dark and the sea is stormy. A sea of daggers are sticking out of the victim’s back. Traditionally the Ten of Swords depicts ten swords sticking out of a prostrate person and represents affliction, sadness, grief and desolation but is historically not especially a card of violent death. Reversed, it means temporary success, favor and profit.
LOVE: Generally negative aspects of betrayal, separation, divorce, infidelity, anger, bitterness.
HEALTH: This advises you to make immediate health changes or negative conditions like exhaustion, collapse and mental health crises may ensue.
MONEY: This card indicates financial woes such as bankruptcy, financial ruin, and crushing debts.
CAREER: This may indicate a job or project coming to a swift, unsuccessful end.
