The Wheel of Fortune Meaning

Prompt:

Do you recognize any patterns in your life that can allow you to choose a different path?

Live the Tarot:

Consider a cycle you dislike but keep repeating in your life and write down as many alternatives as possible and what might happen if you don’t choose to keep repeating that cycle again and again.

Artist’s Notes

I chose a Sphinx cat (representing strength and knowledge), the Egyptian God-serpent Typhon (Lord of Evil) and the Egyptian God Anubis (Lord of the Dead). I also incorporated a scarab (transformation/life cycle) and an ankh (represents eternal life). I left out the traditional text on the wheel spelling out “YHVH” (the unpronounceable name of God) and the symbols for mercury, sulphur, water and salt (alchemist building blocks required for life).

Traditionally, Wheel of Fortune represents karma, life cycles, seasons of life and transformation. Reversed, it can mean feeling stuck, having a streak of bad luck or being crushed by the inevitable consequences of past bad life choices.

LOVE: This is the on-again-off-again romance that never seems to move past the hot/cold phase to a steady growth relationship. If single, you may be on point to meet great new suitors.

MONEY: You may be about to receive a huge unexpected financial boost from a non-traditional source.

HEALTH: You may be entering a phase of feeling great.

CAREER: Big changes are happening at work and a huge shake up may lead to an unexpected change in your position.
