Four of Swords Meaning

Prompt:

If you’re not willing to take time to recover from the ups and downs in life, are you willing to share your situation with a mentor?

Live the Tarot:

Self-care includes knowing when enough is enough. Maybe what you need most is the silence offered in nature.

Artist’s Notes:

I placed a statue of French knight in golden armor on top of a marble tomb. His hands are in prayer. There is a beautiful stained glass window behind the knight. Four swords float above the warrior laid to rest. The scene is serine and peaceful. Traditionally, this card represents the respite after battle, rest, reflection and relaxation. Reversed, this card can represent fighting after the battle is loss, restless, refusal to acknowledge the battle is already over, or being ineffectual.

LOVE: If you’re in a relationship you need a break to get it together. If you’re single you must take a break from dating because you need to gather your thoughts and regroup.

MONEY: If you’re paranoid about your financial situation, remember that nonsworry isn’t healthy long term.

CAREER: Your work is frustrating and and the toll it’s taking may point to a needed rest.

HEALTH: Your health would benefit from a break in the stress.
