The Magician is the first numbered Major Arcana card representing our ability to manifest the life of our dreams. Also known as the Mage, this card is a powerful reminder that our actions directly effect the way we experience life itself. The Magician invites us to step into our power and to live a life of purpose.

What does it mean to me to live with purpose?

Choose one area of your life that would be improved by setting a goal and achieving that goal. It doesn't have to be a huge ten year goal. Progress is achieved by putting one foot in front of the other and taking the next step. If you want to eat at home more often, for example, set aside one night a week to try a new recipe you learned from YouTube.

For my interpretation, I chose a young man surrounded by roses representing the product of his manifestation. The symbols of the suit cards including the wand, cup, sword and pentacle along with the infinity sign and a snake eating his own tail are side elements. In this image I wanted to portray young educated man as a vessel for the skill and confidence it takes to create a plan, follow that plan to its completion and to enjoy the benefits of a well executed project. Traditionally, The Magician represents compete manifestation of your desires. Reversed, The Magician can represent a conman using trickery.

LOVE: A couple who work in tandem to make the most of their relationship with each offering their strengths to make things even better.

MONEY: This is a person who is very good with money and can seem to take any situation from rags to riches.

HEALTH: You take the driver's seat in your health investigating both traditional and alternative traditions to make your situation better.

CAREER: Using your talents to advance your position in life and taking all your powers to bring your dreams to fruition.
