Have you ever really wanted to try something but held back from going for it? Why not step out of your comfort zone and give that new thing a whirl. You never know where a new path might lead. Write down a list of at least ten things you've always wanted to do on separate slips of paper. Put those slips in a hat and pull out one trusting the Universe has a lesson for you in whatever one you pick. Now take a trusted pal with you and go for it!

For my interpretation I chose a gymnast dressed in a harlequin two piece as a nod to the alternative name of the Fool which is The Jester. She is barefoot holding a bindle as in the traditional RWS imagery and she is staring at a yellow butterfly. Her loyal companion, a small white French Bull Dog, is leaping behind her. A white flower grows beside the cliff's edge where she is about to leap into the unknown. 

I chose the gymnast because of the strength and bravery she has in starting on a new journey and throwing caution to the wind as she twirls into the unknown. I felt the flexibility of an athlete was a metaphor for the nimbleness of action required when over-coming any unforeseen obstacles that pop up when you embark on a new journey. Traditionally, The Fool represents new beginnings, potential opportunities and new experiences. It can mean a new job, a new partner or a new experience. When reversed The Fool can represent fear of the unknown, or resistance to acting outside your comfort zone.

LOVE: This can represent the early stage of  infatuation of love before you know one another well.

MONEY: In finances this may be the early journey of the entrepreneur trying to get their idea off the ground.

HEALTH: Be true to yourself and find a space to allow your inner child to frolic. Get your body moving.

CAREER: You may be eager to explore new skills or new areas of your vocation and it may mean a love to a new place to do so.
