Artist’s Notes:

I chose a woman who has awaken from a terrifying nightmare. I used a laughing grim reaper to represent the woman’s fears. The dark blue rose represents the subconscious and the light blue Rose represents the conscious. Traditionally, the upright meaning indicates fear, anxiety, stress, burden, guilt and mental health concerns. Reversed, the card indicates getting help, opening up, releasing stress and facing life.
